Machinjiri Zone Committee donates for construction of Masjid

Muslim Association of Malawi’s Machinjiri Zone Committee has donated money for construction of a masjid in Area Ten in the Township.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony Chairman of the committee Hastings Abdullah said they also molded bricks for the project.

“I ask Muslims to work hand in hand for Islamic development to flourish,” said Abdullah.

In his remarks Chairman of Area Ten masjid in Machinjiri township Sheikh Stambuli said they are happy to receive the donation.

“We are very thankful to Machinjiri Zone Committee for donating the money which will be used to start constructing Area 10 masjid,” Sheikh Stambuli said.
