Malawi Mothers complain of Measles Rubella vaccination effects

Some mothers in Malawi have complained that their children below one year are suffering from skin rashes after measles Rubella vaccination.

However, Ministry of Health has dismissed reports that Measles Rubella Vaccination has left negative side effects on children below one year.

Spokesperson of the Ministry Adrian Chikumbe said they have not recorded any case.

“In any vaccination, children respond in different ways such as fever and skin lashes,” said Chikumbe

Therefore he asked parents and guardians to visit the hospital after observing these signs and symptoms.
