Malawi police arrests most wanted criminals

Mchinji police has arrested seven most wanted criminals who have been terrorizing the district by committing a series of violent crimes.

Mchinji police public relations officer inspector Kaitano Lubrino said they had been residing in Mchinji and neighbouring districts.

“The suspects are Gerald Chimgwede, Christopher Banda, James Phiri, Lefani Kachitete and Ahmed Yusuf,” said Lubrino.

He added that the suspects were using a woman to entice men in order to rob them who has also been arrested.

Meanwhile, Mchinji police has managed to recover various stolen goods.
