Malawi to benefit with Tripartite Free Trade

President Prof Peter Mutharika has said Malawians will benefit a lot with the yet to be established Tripartite Free Trade as many indigenous business ventures will be exposed to international markets.

Professor Mutharika said this on his departure to Egypt where he will attend the tripartite meeting for Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) and East African Community (EAC).

“Establishment of the free trade will boost the country’s economy,” said Mutharika.

The president is expected to proceed to South Africa where is going to attend the African Union Summit.
