MAM urges Malawians to support the new Govt

Muslim Association of Malawi has extended best wishes to the president Dr Lazarus Chakwera for his victory.

According to a press statement made available to Radio Islam, MAM has reiterated its policy that will continue to work with government of the day.

In the statement MAM National Chairman, Sheikh Idrissa Muhammad, assures the newly elected president of his steady support.

Sheikh Muhammad has also assured Dr Chakwera and his government of total commitment in ensuring that government fulfils its plans in uplifting the welfare of all Malawians.

The National Chairman has however appealed to all Malawians to render full support to the new government for development to flourish.

Sheikh Muhammad has also asked the Almighty Allah to protect President Chakwera against any ill wishes and that He should guide and bless its leadership and the mother Malawi.
