MPs Must Work For Malawians-Govt

As members of parliament begin meeting today, government Govt says is very optimistic that the mutual understand which exists among legislators will continue.

Leader of the House in Parliament, Kondwani Nankhumwa, told Radio Islam that despite the political affiliations members need to continue working together for the betterment of Malawians.

Nankhumwa explained that all bills tabled in the house are meant to benefit all people of different political parties.

“This sitting is also expected to discuss bills that were carried forward and the minister of Justice will also bring other new bills,” Nankhumwa said.

Nankhumwa said Members of the house have performed well in the past four years as a number of development bills have passed.
