Parliament has arranged new measures which should be followed during its meeting which begins Friday in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Addressing the media spokesperson of parliament Ian Mwenye said only one hundred members of parliament will be allowed in the chamber and the public banned

“The parliamentarians will be meeting for only two hours a day in 7 weeks,” Mwenye added.

Meanwhile state President Peter Mutharika is set to deliver his State of Nation address through a recorded message departing from a long standing tradition where a leader physically addresses the house when the buddget session is starting.
