Radio Islam Listeners establish new zone

Radio Islam listeners association in Zomba has said unity is vital for development of Islam.

This was said by spokesperson of the association Abdu Rwahaman Piches when they established a zone at Malajira masjid in 6 miles.

Piches said Muslims cannot be strong in their activities if collaboration is not maintained among them.

“Establishing zones is one way of fostering cooperation because they will help to enhance easy communication on different issues which matters to them,” said Piches

However, he said the association is facing many challenges which are derailing their efforts of reaching some parts of the district.

He disclosed that “by this time the group was supposed to have established zones in all parts of the district but they have failed to do so due to mobility challenges.”

Phiri then called upon well wishers to assist the association so that it accomplishes its aspirations.

On his part secretary for Malajira masjid Daud Amin said the zone will help in uniting Muslims in the area.

“Muslims in the area are facing challenges which require collective efforts for them to be addressed,”Amin said.

Listeners clubs were initiated in order to bring unity among those who listen to radio Islam.
