RAILA launches development fund

Radio Islam Listeners Association has launched RAILA development fund, for the association to sustain its charitable activities.

RAILA president, Sulaymana Chitela says the fund is very crucial, as it will help them to run the association smoothly.

He was speaking during the launch of the initiative in Mchinji district, where he mentioned that members from all regions will be contributing money to the fund, which will help the association to do more projects.

Chitela also mentioned that part of the fund will be invested in business as one way of generating more money for the association.

Speaking at the same function, Sheikh Chitundu Saidi who was representing MAM district chair for Mchinji, advised the members to be united and committed for the association to achieve its goals.

Sheikh SaidI asked the members to accept and support RAILA leadership.

RAILA Mchinji district coordinator Patricia Kaliza said it is a welcome initiative which will encourage many listeners to contribute towards the fund.

Kaliza however urged Muslims in the country to do more charity works by assisting the needy in their localities because good deeds attract more reward from almighty Allah.
