Councils to relocate flood victims: DODMA

Department of disaster risk management affairs DODMA has said the responsibility of relocating flood victims is now in the hands of councils.

Speaking in an interview with radio Islam on the progress of the relocation Jeremiah Mphande, public relations officer of DODMA said the department will only be providing relief items if councils file a report of the needed support.

Mphande has therefore asked district and city councils to report to it any challenges which flood victims who are still in various camps are facing.
