Education ministry launches Radio Education program for Primary School Learners

Ministry of Education Science and Technology has launched Emergency Radio Education Program targeting pupils of primary level.

According to the Ministry, the program has been introduced to ensure that pupils are learning whilst at home amidst corona virus pandemic.

Speaking after the launch, the minister responsible, Dr William Susuwere Banda, said the program mainly will help the learners to gain some knowledge until they go back to school.

“I am calling all stakeholders to work with the ministry to explore possibilities to open the schools at an appropriate time.”
