Some of the (SOPS) are: being alert for even a single case or a rumour of a suspected case in the catchment area, refer to the nearest health facility any cases of watery diarrhoea at the school, monitor learner attendance everyday, sarry out Health Education at the school, display cholera messages and promote Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Practices

In a statement released today as schools reopen tomorrow secretary for education Chikondano Mussa strongly urges School Management, learners, parents and relevant stakeholders to adhere to SOPs which are in line with public health protocols as provided by Ministry of Health
