Government to Transform Rural Areas into Attractive Places

Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has said will transform rural areas into attractive places for business.

The remarks have been made by secretary of the ministry Dr Ken Ndala during the official opening of a 2 day rural attractiveness perspectives for Transformation regional conference taking place in Lilongwe.

“The aim of the conference is to discuss and share experiences and best practice to create innovative entrepreneurship for sustainable economic development,’ Ndala said

In his remarks ambassador of Germany to Malawi Jurgen Thomas Borsch said his government will assist Malawi to end hunger.

The regional conference which has been organized by Green Innovation Centers Program for organizing is being held under the theme Rural attractiveness.
