Immigration Department Strict On Elections

Director General of immigration and citizenship services directs all heads of sections to be on strict standby in preparedness for the forthcoming tripartite elections.

According to A.T Kaonga for the director general says all routine holidays are suspended with immediate effect.

Kaonga says visa issuance to risky countries must be referred to headquarters for vetting.

He has also directed them to mount permanent road blocks day and night, conduct sweeping operations, permit inspections, border patrols, deportation and repatriation exercises in readiness for elections.

Kaonga says all refugees must be in the camps.
