President Professor Peter Mutharika has gone to UK to attend the commonwealth heads of government summit.

Speaking before departure at Kamuxu international airport Mutharika said during the summit heads of countries will discuss various issues.

“The issues to be discussed include such as human trafficking, malaria control, health, education, agriculture and sustainable development,” Mutharika said.

He said theme of the summit is moving forward and cooperation.

Mutharika also said nine months have passed without going abroad to save Malawi’s money.

Malawi President further said after the commonwealth summit in London he will address key note forums in Scotland.
