Police partner with Mozambican counterparts to apprehend abductors of people with albinism

Police in Machinga has said is in need of more support to apprehend the two suspects who are still at large after abducting a two year old toddler with albinism.
Speaking with Radio Islam today after it noted that weeks have gone without Machinga police station apprehending the two related suspects its officer in charge Gideon Nahumu said that they are working hand in hand with police and chiefs in Mozambique to catch the related suspects.
“We got tips from some people in this district that one of the Likhutu’s stays in Mozambique and we’re optimistic that he is hiding there,” disclosed Nahumu.
He said they had decided to partner with them because one of the suspects married in that country.
He added that chiefs in Machinga district had promised to work with them in order to get rid of the malpractice.
