Malawi Government Gives Muslims Iftar

Muslim association of Malawi MAM Mangochi Chapter has commended government for supporting 160 needy Muslim families with food hampers in the district during this holy month of Ramadhan.

MAM Chairperson Sheikh Adam Imran said government need to be praised for the support rendered which shows love and caring to Muslims in the country.

Sheikh Imran said “the gesture has been distributed to poor families from 10 masjids around Mangochi township.”

Speaking with smile faces after receiving the food items Kassim Tayub and Patuma Winesi thanked government for the gesture.

They said “we happy to receive the food stuff in this last ten days of Ramadhan.”
