“Let me remind Malawians that local government by-elections will be conducted on Tuesday and MEC is very ready to hold free, credible and fair polls. I ask all eligible voters to cast there ballots in order to choose people who will develop their areas,” said Mwafulirwa.

Local government by-elections will take place in five wards of Chibanja in Mzuzu, Msikisi in Mangochi, Lunchenza, Khwawa in Karonga and Zomba central.
