Journalists Asked To Report on Malaria & Food

Health promoters say the media is the most powerful tool of relaying information on the prevention of diseases.

They said this during an orientation workshop for media personalities on Malaria prevention as well as Food safety and Aflatoxins.

Speaking during the workshop media production coordinator for Story Workshop Jessie Puwapuwa says involvement of radio presenters in disseminating health information has proved to be a powerful way of promoting health talks and behavior change among Malawians.

“The radio personality endorsement initiative will complement the initial health programming, hence yielding better results,” Puwapuwa says
