Malawi Interfaith Aids Association (MIAA) officials have appealed to all religious leaders in the country to promote access to medication for all.
The Association made the call following a development that over 2600 people living with HIV and AIDS in Balaka has abandoned taking ARVs after getting advice from certain religious leaders in the district.
According to a press release issued by MIAA, this is a a very sad development as it is happening when government and its cooperating partners have stepped up efforts which meant at increase access to drug and medication.
