Minister asks employers to recruit fresh graduates

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Dr Emmanuel Fabiano, has urged the potential employer to provide opportunities to fresh graduates to demonstrate their capabilities.

Dr Fabiano said this at the first group of bachelor’s degree graduation ceremony for Malawi Colleges Accountancy (MCA) held at Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe.

“Well trained person does not need many years of experience to be employed,”said Dr Fabiano.

He therefore advised the graduating students to desist from fraud and corruption practices.

Dr Fabiano expressed government’s appreciation to the college for the contribution they play in the country’s social economic development.

In his remarks MCA Chairperson of Board of Governors, Dr Rex Harawa, said the college will continue providing excellent training in its quest of absorbing the rate of school leavers denied a chance at other public universities.
