MUMSA conducts charity work at Mzuzu prison.

Mzuzu University Muslim Students Association MUMSA has conducted charity work at Mzuzu prison.

Speaking to radio Islam MUMSA chairperson Aide Farao said they donated items worth 250,000 kwacha and conducted sanitation activities around the prison campus.

“We decided to cheer the inmates after helping other groups of people,’ says Farao

Mzuzu prison assistant public relations officer Macbeth Wasambo commended MUMSA for visiting the prison, conducting charity work and cheering the prisoners.

“The visit was very important because it came at the right time when the inmates lack different items and need interaction as well as comfort,” Wasambo expresses

He encouraged the students to continue doing the charity work
