Pulumutsani Quran House Team Refutes Plot Sale Rumors

Pulumutsani Quran House Campaign team has refuted reports that Muslim Association of Malawi has now resorted to sell the plot.

Reports have gone viral that MAM has intended to vacate the court injunction in order the sell the plot.

But reacting to the allegation National Coordinator for Pulumutsani Quran House Campaign, Sheikh Ommar Mkachelenga, described the reports as the works of ill minded individuals.

“We had an emergency meeting with all stakeholders yesterday where it was discovered that they are mere speculations aimed at discouraging Muslims from the campaign,”Sheikh Mkachelenga said.

He added that National Chairman for MAM also wondered how the plot can be sold when many Malawian Muslims are generously contributing to the campaign.

Muslim Association of Malawi is supposed to pay over 118 million kwacha to Dan Kamwaza, the architecture who designed the buildings for new MAM offices.
