Radio Islam Listeners fundraise for patients at Zomba central hospital.

Radio Islam Listeners in Zomba have held a fundraising activity aimed at mobilizing money to assist patients at Zomba central hospital.

Speaking after the event Publicity secretary of the Chapter Abdul Rwahmaan Pichesi called upon the youths to be united and develop a spirit of self reliance.

“It is time for the youth to start finding means of getting resources other than depending on other people when they want to hold activities,” Pichesi

On the fundraising activity Pichesi said is satisfied with the amount realized and will hold similar events in Jali as well as Chingale in order to mobilise more resources.

He added that he will utilize such events to alert communities, so that they prepare for the forthcoming holy month of Ramadhan.
