Road To Relief Donates to Hunger Victims In Malawi

Road to Relief has donated food packs to over 170 hunger stricken families in the area of Sub-Traditional Authority Sale in Machinga district.

According to its publicist Ajiru Kalitendere the items are worthy 2 million kwacha.

Kalitendere said they decided to donate the packs which contained 25kgs of flour which they were sharing and 5 kgs of beans after noting the hunger that has hit the area.

“Road to relief has been implementing projects of alleviating poverty, improving health and education among Malawians,” Kalitendere said

In their remarks, some of the beneficiaries John White and Ezelina Manyamba commended the organization for the donation and asked other well wishers to follow suit.

Concurring with the beneficiaries, Sub-T/A Sale said “the problem is huge as their neighbors from Mozambique where they depend on did not also harvest bumper yields this year.”
