Third Witness in Elections Case Re-examined

Lawyer of UTM party in presidential elections case Marshal Chilenga has re-examined third witness Darlington Ndasauka

Chilenga began re-examining Ndasauka on Tuesday morning after lawyers of Malawi Electoral Commission Kalekeni Kaphale and President Professor Peter Mutharika Frank Mbeta had cross examined him.

During the re-examination Kaphale objected some questions saying “we did not ask them during our cross examination.”

Judge Ivy Kamanga intervened and Chilenga removed some of the questions.

The judge announced that on Wednesday the court will give some directives on cross examination of other witnesses.

The court then adjourned to two o’clock Tuesday afternoon when the forth witness Bright Kawaga is expected to be cross examined.
