UK Donates Family Planning Consignment to Malawi

United Kingdom’s Department for International Development DFID has donated consignment of Family planning worth 19 pounds to Malawi government through UNFPA

The commodities were handed over during the launch of Tsogolo Langa Family Planning program which will run for 6 years aimed at providing modern contraceptives to women

Speaking at the launch head of DFID in Malawi David Beer said “family planning helps women to make informed decisions for better future.”

In his remarks UNFPA country representative Young Hong said there is need to provide reproductive health information to couples for good child spacing

Principal Secretary for Ministry of Health Dr Dan Namalika said government will make sure that the commodities reach very part of the country.
