US First Lady In Malawi

The first lady of United States of Malawi Melania Trump is in Malawi.

Mrs. Trump arrived through Kamuzu international airport in the capital city Lilongwe before 1 o’clock.

She will visit a primary school in Area 25 and hold talks with the first lady Gertrude Mutharika.

Information suggests that she will depart Malawi on Friday morning.

This is her first solo international trip and is expected to visit Kenya and Egypt.

Mrs Trump was in Ghana where she visited a hospital and slave fort.

In February, a row broke out after her husband allegedly used “shithole” to describe some African nations.

Mrs Trump’s week-long trip to the continent is seen as helping to heal some of the divisions.
