Business Guru ‘Mulli’ Denies Receiving K17bn Government Loan

One of the business gurus in the country, Leston Mulli, has advised human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) leadership to avoid fabricating stories meant to damage business in the country.

Mulli who is also Managing Director of Mulli Brothers Holdings, said this after one of the HRDC leaders allegedly that he had received K17 billion loan from government.

Speaking at a press conference in Blantyre, Mulli described the report as baseless allegations meant to damage my image.

“They have claimed that 1 billion kwacha is for this years Mlhakho wa Alomwe celebrations,” Mulli said

He however said is consulting his lawyers if it is necessary to take legal action on the matter.
