Chakwera goes to Saudi Arabia for Makanjira Road

President Lazarus Chakwera has said is going to Saudi Arabia primarily for Makanjira road

President Lazarus Chakwera has this before departing Kamuzu International Airport for Saud-Africa Summit although Saudi Arabia announced the postponement of Arab Africa summit which the president was expected to attend due to developments in Gaza.

Speaking Chakwera said Makanjira is extremely rich for agriculture, tourism and mining hence the need to construct a good road.

From Saudi Arabia Chakwera is expected to attend a trade summit scheduled in Egypt and return to Malawi on 14^th November
