Chiefs Tour Development Sites

Traditional leaders in Mangochi have toured sites where five star hotel and international airport will be established.

Speaking after the tour Senior chief Namkumba said the hotel will attract huge investments and promote employment for his subjects.

Namkumba said “we have accepted the development though some people will be affected especially those residing and depending on the site.”

He commended government for getting people’s views before the project is implemented.

Traditional Authority Mponda whose area will be constructed international airport saluted the president for fulfilling his promise.

He said was happy that people will be become economically independent once the project rolls out
