ISJF condemns Chakwera for Supporting Israeli Injustices On Palestinians

Islamic commission for justice and freedom ICJF has condemned President Lazarus Chakwera for supporting Israeli injustices on Palestinians in Gaza

According to a statement from ICJF chairperson, Abdurrahman Ajasi, justifying injustice is a sign of hypocrisy therefore Chakwera should avoid dictating decisions that are likely to cause divisions of the citizenry.

Ajasi says Malawi is home to people of different religions and as such, its leadership should consider all citizens when taking stand on domestic and foreign issues.

He says the leadership of Malawi should play a significant role in international politics to promote peace and foster coexistence among parties with differing beliefs or ideologies.

Ajasi says the president should take into account that events happening elsewhere may have direct or indirect links and impact on Malawian citizens.

He has also asked the President to avoid using social media to communicate sensitive government issues
