Last witness in presidential elections case testifies

Last witness in presidential elections case Muhabi Chisi has testified by demonstrating how the results management system worked

Chisi who is Director of information technology at Malawi Electoral Commission MEC is its third and final witness.

However, lawyers of MCP and UTM objected bringing new evidence which is not in Chisi’s sworn statement.

Senior counsel of MEC Kalekeni Kaphale tried to defend the testimony but the court sustained the objection.

The testimony was affected by Network problem hence the court adjourned it to rectify.
