Malawi National Export Strategy Fails to Achieve Some Goals

Ministry of Trade and industry has disclosed that the 2013 to 2018 national exports strategy did not deliver some of the desired results.

This was revealed during the National Consultation Workshop on National Export Strategy of Malawi by Secretary for Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ken Ndala.

Ndala said the strategy faced a lot of challenges adding the next National Exports Strategy will be finalized next year.

Commenting, trade Advisor at Trade, Oceans and Natural Resources Directorate, Yinka Bandele, said Malawi should learn from the mistakes in the last National Exports Strategy for smooth implementation of the next one.
