Muslim Graduates To Promote Development.

Muslim graduates in the country have been asked to use the acquired knowledge in developing Islam and Malawi.

Associate professor of politics and administration at Chancellor College Mustapha Hussein said this in Mangochi during a farewell party of 14 Muslim students who are in final year at Malawi Polytechnic organized by Polytechnic Muslim Students Association POMSA.

Professor Hussein advised the students to work hard and venture into entrepreneurship as unemployment is very high.

“Muslim graduates should think of developing themselves, Islam and the nation,” said Professor Hussein.

Commenting, vice chairperson of POMSA James Bangwe said they organized the function as an appreciation to their efforts in promoting Islam at the Polytechnic.

“Muslim students should make sure that they associate with people who have good manner not those with bad behaviour,” Bangwe said.

He called upon Muslim students in Secondary schools and Clleges to form Muslim Students Association which helps to remind each other of Islam.
