Ntchisi Police Station Is Number 1 In Crime Reduction

Ntchisi police station has been voted number 1 in crime reduction in the central region in 2018.

This was said at Ntchisi police station during a meeting that was organized to show the trophy and certificate of achievement to the community in the district.

Guest of honour commissioner of police for central region Evalista Chisale thanked people in Ntchisi for working hand in hand with police in reducing crime.

He said was very happy that they have never received any report on attacks of people with albinism in Ntchisi district.

Chisale said police will continue making sure that people with albinism are protected every time.

In his remarks, officer in charge for Ntchisi police station deputy commissioner Edward Chingaipe said the reduction in crime is due to joint efforts between police and the community.

Chingaipe said they will continue working hard to reduce crime in Ntchisi district.

Speaking during the function Traditional Authority Kalumo applauded Ntchisi police for the commendable job it is doing as it was also voted number 1 in the past two years.

The event was spiced by a march of police officers from Ntchisi district hospital to Ntchisi police station.
