Students arrested for attempting to kill the ex-scholar

20 students at Dedxa secondary school have been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill a former student.

According to deputy police publicist in Dedxa constable Cassim Manda, the students started the riot on Sunday after Frank Kamala visited the school from Biwi in Lilongwe to collect his money which some of them had borrowed.

“The headmaster informed the police who rescued Kamala,” said Manda.

Kamala will answer charges of likely to cause breach of peace.
