Balaka DC Advises CSO’s to Enhance Development

Balaka district commissioner has advised civil society organizations CSO’s to work with the council in enhancing development.

Emmanuel Bambe made the communication as he was for the first time addressing Balaka CSO’s network during its quarterly meeting where he was the guest of honour.

Bambe advised individual organisations to be frequently reporting their activities to the council saying “it helps in making projects follow-ups and seeking required interventions where they are needed.”

Commenting, Balaka CSO’s network chairperson Charles Sineta said the DC’s advice is a work up call to organizations that execute their duties without providing reports and updates to the council.

Sineta said it is a requirement that all organizations operating in the district should report to government through the council.
