Fire guts Leopard Safety Matches Company

Fire has gutted Leopard Safety Matches Company in Blantyre and some employees have been rushed to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital

Speaking to Radio Islam at the site one of the eye witnesses Lyson Chimbayo said they heard an explosion at the company

Chimbayo said the fire accident affected the nearest companies such as Umodzi Park and Industrial Steel Engineering service.

“The police vehicle helped the fire department to extinguish the fierce blaze at the company,” Chimbayo

He said this is the second  fire accident at Leopard Safety Matches Company to take place this  year but the first one was minor
