Former Presidential bodyguard arrested

Malawi Police Service has arrested former presidential bodyguard Norman Paulos Chisale has been arrested on allegations of intimidation and obstructing justice

National Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya has confirmed the arrest of Chisale but did not provide more details saying the police will soon be releasing more information on the development.

Chisale is currently at Lingadzi Police Station where police are expected to record his statement.

He said the justice minister titus Mvalo is a lier and rejected forgiving former director of public prosecutions Steven Kayuni
