High premature births worry NEST

Country director of New Born essential solutions and technologies NEST Evelyn Zimba has expressed concern over high number of premature births in the country’s hospitals

Zimba made the remarks at the opening of a two day small and sick newborns care stakeholders meeting

She said her organization is complementing government efforts to improve quality of care given to small and sick newborns in Malawi to reduce preterm births by providing equipment to hospitals

In his remarks acting chief of emergency and critical care services in the ministry of health Norman Lufesi welcomed the support provided by organizations and universities for new born babies
