Half of MSCE Candidates Pass Examinations

Malawi National Examinations Board MANEB in conjunction with ministry of Education science and technology has released results of 2019 Malawi school certification of Education MSCE.

Public relations officer for MANEB Mayamiko Chiwaya has confirmed to radio Islam.

Chiwaya says out of 92, 867 candidates who sat for the examinations 46, 771 have passed representing 50.36%.

“17, 887 female candidates have passed out of 41, 708 and 28, 884 males out of 51, 159 male candidates who sat for the examinations have qualified for the certificate,” she added

302 Special needs candidates have passed out of 573 representing 52.71.

Results of 6 candidates have been withheld pending investigations for contravening MANEB regulations.
