ICBM Holds First-ever Graduation Ceremony

International College of Business and Management ICBM has conducted its first ever graduation ceremony at COMESA hall in Blantyre.

ICBM which was established in 2002 under the management of Bilal Trust has trained over 4500 students.

Speaking during the ceremony, Chancellor college Vice principal, Professor Samson Sajeed applauded Bilal trust for subsidizing education for needy students in Malawi.

“Stakeholders like Bilal trust are very vital in promoting education for the needy hence asking others to follow suit,” Professor Sajeed said

He encouraged the graduants to believe in themselves and perform to their greatest capabilities.

In his remarks director of academics at ICBM Manafi Katonga urged companies and organizations to partner with ICBM in providing internship to its students.

“The industry is yearning for experienced workers hence the need for students to acquire hands on experience,” said Katonga

ICBM principal Mumtaz Omar said the collage aims at assisting needy students access quality tertiary education.

Omar urged all stakeholders to assist ICBM in sponsoring needy students.

He also encouraged the graduating students to venture into entrepreneurship to suit the changing environment.

During the congregation, 135 students have been awarded  with certificates and diplomas in various fields.
