Malawi Hosts SADC Electoral Commissions’ Forum

Malawi Electoral Commission is hosting annual general Conference of Electoral Commissions for SADC Countries (ECF SADC) from 22^nd to 27^th September, 2019 in Blantyre.

The ECF SADC is a network of electoral management bodies from 16 SADC countries.

Malawi currently holds the Presidency for the Forum.

The State Vice-President, Right Honourable Everton Herbert Chimulirenji will officially open the conference on Monday September 23, 2019 at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.

Chairperson of Malawi Electoral Commission which is president of ECF SADC Justice Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah says they will also host a one-day international seminar on “Enhancing the Credibility of Elections Through Observation”.
