MAM Won’t Vacate Injunction On Quran House-Chair

Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has said will not vacate court injunction on the alleged sale of Quran House that was obtained by concerned Muslims.

Speaking during a round table discussion with the concerned Muslims, MAM national chairman Sheikh Idrisah Muhammad said the injunction can be sustained because its existence does not interfere with Pulumutsani Quran House Initiative.

Sheikh Muhammad said “it is now clear that the two groups have a common goal of saving Quran house.”

Speaking in an interview with Radio Islam, national coordinator for Pulumutsani Quran House, Sheikh Omar Mkacherenga saving “the house shall be victory to the entire Muslim community in Malawi hence asking for more support towards the campaign.”

Sheikh Mkacherenga assured the Muslim community of their commitment towards the initiative.
