MBS hands over Lunzu SS science laboratory

Malawi Bureau of Standards MBS has said will support education sector in order to have productive society in the country.

MBS director general Symon Mandala said this during the ceremony of opening a science laboratory it has refurbished at Lunzu secondary school.

Mandala described the laboratory as a potential tool in promotion of good performance in science subjects.

He said the science subjects are crucial in MBS responsibility of protecting consumers from foods which are sub standard.

In his remarks inspector of secondary schools for South west education division Christopher Dziwa appealed to MBS to continue helping schools across the country.

Speaking deputy head teacher of Lunzu secondary school Eric Njerenje welcomed the initiative saying has come at a right time.
