Muslim Organizations in the country have been asked to embrace technology for better service delivery and effective development

The call has been made during a day-long workshop in Blantyre which was organized by Jamia Usmania and Bena Charity trust based on the training for upgrading administration skills

Speaking after the training Principal of Jamiah Usmania Abdul Rahaman Salawart said they organized the workshop to develop and equip Islamic organizations and individuals with skills on management

“As organizers we were satisfied with the turnout and interaction of people from different districts,” Salawart said

One of the facilitators at the Workshop Abdul Majid Dyton asked the participants to acquire and utilize all the skills obtained from the workshop

Dyton said “as one of the Muslims in the country I noted some gaps of managerial skills in various Islamic organizations hence the need of the workshop.”

According to one of the participants Saidi Saizi who is the Coordinator of Africa Development Education Foundation (ADEF) in Nkhotakota the workshop was very important as he has acquired necessary skills
