Muslims on girl education promotion campaign

Machinga Xakaat Fund has embarked on the campaign of encouraging Islamic girls who are in secondary schools to work hard.

Speaking at one meeting in Ntaja which brought together Islamic girls from ten secondary schools Chairperson of Machinga Xakaat Nickson Ambali said the aim is to ensure Islamic girls pursue tertiary education.

“It is worrisome that some Muslim girls are getting married before completing studies,” said Ambali

One of the girls from Ntaja CDSS commended Machinga Xakaat Fund for embarking on such a campaign.

“We have gained a lot therefore will plan well for our future,” said the Muslim girl.
