Police Officer killed by Mob

One Malawi police officer has died following fracas which ensued between police and angry mob in Nsundwe, Lilongwe.

Minister of homeland security Nicholas Dausi has confirmed the development.

“It is unfortunate that Malawians have turned violent,” Dausi complained

Commenting one of the political analysts in the country said President Peter Muthalika should end the escalating political violence.

The Mzuzu based political analyst Emily Nkamanga said the president needs to deal with causes of demonstrations and political leaders to tolerate for peace to prevail.
