RAILA donates to Dzaleka Refugee camp

Radio Islam listeners’ association Lilongwe chapter has donated food and non food items to Muslims at Dzaleka Refugee camp in Dowa district.

Speaking to Radio Islam chairman for the chapter Haroon Duri said they decided to make the donation to fellow Muslims because refugees face a lot of problems at the camp.

According to Duri they believe that items given to the Muslim refugees will help solve some of their problems for a while.

“This chapter will continue assisting refugees whenever it can,” says Duri

In her remarks one of the beneficiaries Shemsa Haidari said was excited with the donation adding will reduce the hunger they are facing at the campa.

Haidari asked Radio Islam listeners to continue doing good deeds to other Muslims.
